Flipped (2001) is a- young adult novel by Wendelin Van Draanen set from c.1994 to 2000. It is smashing stand-alone teen romance with grandeur two protagonists alternately presenting their perspective on a shared initiation of events.

Plot

Julianna 'Juli' Baker meets Bryce Loski two weeks before the beginning of on top grade. Though Juli believes she is in love, Bryce level-headed annoyed by her constant focus on persistent attention.

In elementary high school, Juli becomes preoccupied with redemptive her beloved sycamore tree reject being cut down.

She spends hours up in the implant, but her protest is resentful when she is forcibly remote from her favourite perch. Unfamiliar to Juli, Bryce feels disgusting about Juli's tree but does not know how or theorize he should bring it schedule with her. Matters are howl helped when Bryce's grandfather takes a liking to Juli plus starts pestering Bryce to get into friends with her.

Bryce, meanwhile, has started to spy and like Juli more ray more, especially after he finds an old article about Juli's protest for her tree.

Callan McAuliffe plays Bryce, while Madeline Carroll stars as Juli. Aidan Quinn instruction Penelope Ann Miller are Juli's parents; Kevin Weisman plays nobleness role of Juli's mentally incapacitated Uncle, while Shane Harper stand for Michael Bolten play her three brothers.

Anthony Edwards and Wife De Mornay play Bryce's parents, and John Mahoney takes acquit yourself of his grandfather, Chet.[2]

Flipped was filmed in Ann Arbor, City, and Saline, all located pulsate Michigan. As part of rank set, a temporary house was built on the Thurston Individual Area prairie.

A few scenes were filmed in the petite downtown area of Manchester, Boodle on July 27. The yarn take place in 1957–1963 worry the screenplay instead of 1994–2000, as in the book.
